This bracelet made of narrow flat oval reed, is based on a 3-part 5-bight Turk's head. The weaving is expanded by several rows to make a fuller and wider band. The 3-part refers to the number of moves per row; 5-bight means the number of rows. However, this sequence is broken into 6 rows instead of 5 rows because it seems more logical. Author: Flo Hoppe
