Farmer's Market Tote Basket Pattern by Beth Hester
You’ll enjoy creating this generously-sized easy-to-make basket with natural reed, dyed reed, and paper splint. The set of leather handles add a great look, and they are so practical! Perfect for shopping or carrying projects, this filled-base basket measures 13" x 5 1/2" at the base and stands 13" tall.
Basic techniques include stop/start rows of weaving along with standard tucking, rims and lashing.
Materials: 3/4" Flat natural - Stakes
5/8" Flat natural, dyed 3/8 flat, 1/2" Paper splint and 3/8" Flat natural - Weavers and Base Fillers
1/2" Flat Oval - Rims and 1/4" Flat - Lashing
21" long black leather - Handles (See Related Products)
