The 8" Gizzard-shaped Egg Basket is a rib-construction basket made with two hoops; the hoops are lashed together to form an "eye" on each end of the basket. Ribs are inserted into the "eyes" to form the framework on which the weaving is done. The basket is woven in plain weave (over one, under one) from the eyes, meeting in the middle.Kit includes first quality materials and 2 patterns: Gizzard-shaped Egg Basket and Turning Back.
