Art, history and how the two are woven together is incredibly interesting to me. Recently, as we work to survive the Covid pandemic at our house, my almost 8-year-old and I have been learning about women artists. Lillie’s Aunt Mallory got her a great book full of women artists. It’s fascinating and empowering to read about women who fought for their places in art history. This basket was designed with all this in mind. Starting with a Williamsburg handle and herringbone base the complexities of history and story are woven in. The layers of character and complexity in the rim that Dani Sue designed brings a richness to this piece of art. This basket is 15” tall, handle width is 10” wide and stands 13.5” tall. The basket is 15” at the widest part and 15.5” long. Many colors options available.
